ANCIENT HEALING FOR MODERN TIMES

DESCRIPTION OF COURSEWORK
INTRODUCTION TO REIKI
Provides an opportunity to discover what Reiki is all about, including a brief history of the origins and explanation of the Three Degrees of Reiki. Participants also have the opportunity to hear personal experiences, enjoy a Mini-Reiki treatment and ask questions. This is usually offered as a two-hour session on a Friday evening prior to the Reiki I Training Weekend and is an important preparation for Reiki One
.
FIRST DEGREE REIKI SEMINAR
Reiki I is a spiritually based and guided process in which students receive a permanent attunement to the Reiki Energy, which occurs through four initiations. All seminars include active learning experiences, dialogue, ritual, meditation, personal exploration and growth opportunities, plus Reiki practice, in a gentle, safe, supportive environment. This seminar usually takes place over a three-day weekend with the usual schedule being the Introductory Session on a Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. and the two-day Attunement program from 10-4 on Saturday and Sunday.
SECOND DEGREE REIKI SEMINAR
Pre-requisite: Reiki I
Participants learn the sacred Reiki symbols and how to use them, how to balance the whole being through mental/emotional healing, and a method of distance healing. Personal vibrations are significantly upgraded in the attunement and initiation processes providing the opportunity for greater personal awakening, intuition and contributions to the healing of our planet and her inhabitants. This two-day seminar is usually offered on a similar schedule to Reiki I, and occassionally with a follow-up evening for practice.
THIRD DEGREE REIKI SEMINAR
Pre-requisites: Reiki I & II and Personal Interview
This is the Master Degree Program for those who are prepared to embark on a life of greater service and spiritual enlightenment. The preparatory weekend seminar is just the beginning of a lifetime of personal progress and transformation as one grows into the role of Reiki Master. The Master's Program includes a year of mentoring apprenticeship with the opportunity to co-facilitate at various levels in Introductory Sessions, Reiki I and II Seminars, Reiki Circles; teaching, attuning and facilitating, as well as advanced Master Teacher Training for guiding other Masters.
